Is there a faster way down from Carefree?

Not meaningfully. Scottsdale Road to the Loop 101 to the SR-51 to the I-10 is the best of the options at roughly forty-eight minutes. The I-17 alternative through downtown is slower in practice.

Leaving at 8:15 for a 9:00 AM appointment is usually comfortable. Leaving at 7:15 for an 8:00 arrival is not, but we do not open until 9:00 anyway.

We are here from October to May. Can we do this?

Yes, that is a long enough season. An October or November start leaves ample room for the initial fit and several months of stable wear before you leave.

A shorter stay is a different conversation, and we would rather decline than begin something we cannot see through properly.

Honestly, is this worth forty-eight minutes each way?

For some people no, and we will say so. If you are content in glasses and not bothered day to day, the drive is hard to justify.
