When We Are Open and When to Call

Office Hours

Better Sight Overnight is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed on Saturday and Sunday. The phone line, (480) 706-3937, is answered during those hours. Appointments are scheduled within them, and the last consultation slot of the day starts early enough for the full 60 to 90 minutes to fit before close.

The Best Times to Call

  • Mid-morning, roughly 10:00 to 11:30 AM. The early rush has cleared and the desk can spend time on your question.
  • Mid-afternoon, roughly 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Usually the quietest window of the day.
  • Avoid the first thirty minutes after opening. That is when the day's scheduling gets sorted out.
  • Avoid the last thirty minutes before closing unless it is urgent, since appointments frequently run to the end of the day.
  • Monday mornings are the busiest, because weekend requests are answered then.

Outside Office Hours

  • To book or reschedule, submit the consultation request form at any hour. We reply on the next business day.
  • For a general question, email hello@bettersightovernight.com. The inbox is not monitored outside office hours.
  • For anything clinical, do not use the form or email. Neither is a secure or timely channel for health information.
  • Weekend requests are answered on Monday.

Urgent Lens Problems

  • A lens you cannot remove. Add preservative-free lubricant, blink repeatedly, wait a minute, try again. Do not force it. If it will not come out, call when we open, or seek urgent care if the eye is painful.
  • A lost or damaged lens. Wear your glasses and call us on the next business day to arrange a replacement.
  • A lens dropped in water or rinsed under a tap. Do not wear it. Disinfect for the full recommended soaking time in fresh solution and call us if you are unsure.
  • Discomfort without pain. Leave the lenses out for the night and call the next morning. One missed night costs very little.

The full guide to what is normal and what is not is in Adaptation Guides, and the routine that prevents most of these situations is in Lens Care and Hygiene.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer weekend appointments?

No. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed on weekends.

If weekday appointments are difficult, say so when you book and we will look for the earliest and latest slots available.

Is there an after-hours number?

There is no separate after-hours line. Remove your lenses and, if symptoms are significant, seek urgent eye care the same day rather than waiting.

Then call (480) 706-3937 when we open so we can follow up and review the lenses.

Are you open on public holidays?

Hours can change around holidays. Call ahead to confirm if you are travelling any distance.

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Consultations and fittings are by appointment, since they need dedicated time and equipment.

If you are an existing patient with an urgent lens issue, call first and we will fit you in where we can.
