Where to Find Us in Ahwatukee

Better Sight Overnight is at 15215 S 48th St Ste 180, Phoenix, AZ 85044, in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of south Phoenix. It is a low-rise professional building on South 48th Street between Chandler Boulevard and Ray Road, a short distance west of the I-10, with free surface parking directly outside.

The Building

The office sits in a low-rise professional building typical of Ahwatukee: single-story scale, desert landscaping, shaded walkways, and suite numbers marked at each entrance. It is not a hospital campus and it is not a shopping-center storefront, so look for a professional building set back from 48th Street rather than for signage visible from the road at speed.

Suite 180 is reached from the parking area. Suite numbers are posted at the doors, and our name is on the suite. If you find yourself circling, call (480) 706-3937 and someone will talk you in. It happens often enough that nobody minds.

Parking

  • Free surface parking is available on site, immediately outside the building. There is no garage, no ticket, and no validation to worry about.
  • Accessible spaces are marked near the entrance with a step-free route to the door.
  • Shade is limited, which matters in a Phoenix summer. A sunshade for the windshield is worth having in the car between June and September.
  • Peak times. The lot is busiest late morning. If you are arriving between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, allow an extra few minutes.

Accessibility

  • Step-free access from the accessible parking spaces through to the suite entrance.
  • Wide doorways and level flooring inside the suite, with room to turn a wheelchair in the waiting area and the exam rooms.
  • Seating in the waiting area includes chairs with arms, which are easier to rise from.
  • Companions are welcome in the exam room. For a child, a parent or guardian is required.
  • Tell us in advance if you need anything specific, including extra time, a quieter appointment slot, or help getting from the car. Call (480) 706-3937 and we will arrange it before you arrive.

Our commitments for the website itself are set out in the accessibility statement.

Inside the Suite

The suite is small and purpose-built for this work rather than laid out like a general optometry retail floor. There is a reception desk, a modest waiting area, and consultation and testing rooms housing the diagnostic equipment, including the corneal topographer used at every candidacy evaluation.

What you will not find is a large frame gallery, because this is a specialty Ortho-K practice rather than a general eyewear store. What you will find is enough table space to actually practise lens handling, which is the part of the visit that decides whether the first week at home goes smoothly. See Technology and Diagnostics for what the equipment does.

Arrive about ten minutes early for a first visit. Paperwork is short, but starting on time means the full 60 to 90 minutes goes to your appointment. For routes from each freeway, see Directions, and for opening times see Hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which suite are you in?

Suite 180, at 15215 S 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85044. Suite numbers are posted at the doors off the parking area.

If you cannot see it, call (480) 706-3937 and we will direct you.

Is parking free?

Yes. Free surface parking is available directly outside the building, including accessible spaces near the entrance.

There is no garage, ticket, or validation involved.

Can someone come in with me?

Yes. Companions are welcome in the exam room, and for a patient under eighteen a parent or guardian needs to attend.

Bringing someone is genuinely useful at a consultation, since there is a lot to take in.

How early should I arrive?

About ten minutes for a first visit, five for a follow-up. That leaves room for paperwork without cutting into your appointment.

If you are running late, call. We can sometimes reorder the visit rather than shortening it.
