Driving Directions From Every Direction

The office is on South 48th Street between Chandler Boulevard and Ray Road, in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of south Phoenix, a short distance west of the I-10. Below are routes from each of the four freeways that serve the area. Set your navigation to 15215 S 48th St Ste 180, Phoenix, AZ 85044, and use these as a sanity check rather than a substitute.

Communities We Serve

Our office sits just off the I-10 and Loop 202 interchange, which puts most of the East Valley within a straightforward drive. That matters when a treatment program involves several follow-up visits in the first month.

The Landmark Version

If you know Ahwatukee at all, this is the fastest orientation: come to 48th Street, get yourself between Chandler Boulevard and Ray Road, and the building is on that stretch with parking directly outside. The I-10 runs just to the east, so almost every route below ends the same way.

The interchange where the I-10 meets Loop 202 sits a short distance south of the office, which is why the practice is reachable from most of the East Valley without a complicated approach. Full detail on the building and parking is on Our Location.

From Central Phoenix, Sky Harbor, Tempe, and Scottsdale

  1. Take the I-10 east and then south, following signs toward Tucson. From Sky Harbor, the simplest approach is the I-10 south. From Scottsdale, Loop 101 Price south to the I-10 also works.
  2. Stay on the I-10 through Tempe and into the Ahwatukee stretch.
  3. Exit at Chandler Boulevard.
  4. Turn west onto Chandler Boulevard, away from the freeway.
  5. Turn north onto South 48th Street.
  6. The building is a short distance up on your side of the street. Turn in and park in the free surface lot.

The Ray Road exit works equally well if you prefer to approach from the north on 48th Street. From Tempe the drive is short outside peak hours; from Scottsdale allow noticeably longer in the afternoon.

From Chandler, Gilbert, and Queen Creek

  1. Take Loop 202, the Santan Freeway, westbound through Chandler.
  2. Follow signs to the I-10 and merge onto the I-10 heading west and north toward Phoenix.
  3. Take the Chandler Boulevard exit.
  4. Turn west onto Chandler Boulevard.
  5. Turn north onto South 48th Street and continue to the building.

From Chandler this is a straightforward run outside rush hour. From Gilbert, Loop 202 Santan westbound is almost always faster than surface streets, even when it looks longer on a map.

From Mesa and the US-60 Corridor

  1. Take US-60, the Superstition Freeway, westbound.
  2. Choose one of two connections. Either continue on US-60 to the I-10 and head south, or take Loop 101, the Price Freeway, south from US-60 to the I-10 and then head west and north toward Phoenix.
  3. Exit the I-10 at Chandler Boulevard.
  4. Turn west onto Chandler Boulevard, then north onto South 48th Street.

The Loop 101 Price option is usually the better one from central and south Mesa, because it avoids the busiest section of the I-10 through Tempe. From north Mesa, staying on the US-60 to the I-10 is generally simpler.

From Laveen, South Mountain, and the West Side

  1. Take Loop 202, the South Mountain Freeway, eastbound around the south side of South Mountain.
  2. Follow signs to the I-10 at the eastern end of the South Mountain Freeway.
  3. Merge onto the I-10 heading west and north toward Phoenix. It is a short distance.
  4. Exit at Chandler Boulevard, turn west, then north onto South 48th Street.

The South Mountain Freeway made this practice considerably easier to reach from the southwest valley. Before it opened the same trip meant crossing central Phoenix.

Traffic and Timing

  • Weekday mornings. The I-10 northbound through Ahwatukee and Tempe is heavy from roughly 7:00 to 9:00 AM. A 9:00 AM appointment from the southeast valley needs a real buffer.
  • Weekday afternoons. Southbound congestion builds from about 3:30 PM. Late-afternoon appointments are easier if you are coming from the south or west.
  • Best windows. Mid-morning and early afternoon appointments involve the least driving stress from every direction.
  • Summer. Park facing away from the afternoon sun if you can, and bring a windshield shade. A car interior in July is not a place to leave anything.
  • Follow-up clustering. Tell us where you are driving from when you book. The first month involves several visits and we can group them into times that suit your commute.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the nearest freeway exit?

The Chandler Boulevard and Ray Road exits off the I-10 are both close. Chandler Boulevard is the simpler approach from the south, Ray Road from the north.

From there it is a short drive west to South 48th Street.

Can I get there without a car?

Ahwatukee is a car-oriented area and there is no light rail service to this part of Phoenix. Local bus service runs along the main arterials, and rideshare is straightforward.

If transport is a barrier to attending follow-up visits, tell us when you book and we will try to cluster appointments to reduce the number of trips.

How long does it take from the East Valley?

Outside peak hours most East Valley trips are comfortably short by freeway. Peak-hour traffic on the I-10 can add substantially.

Drive times and routes for each community are on the service area pages.

What if I cannot find the building?

Call (480) 706-3937 and someone will direct you from wherever you are. Signage is set back from the road and it catches people out.

Suite 180 is reached from the parking area, with suite numbers posted at the doors.
