Getting here from Goodyear means joining the I-10 at Estrella Parkway, Bullard Avenue, or Litchfield Road and staying on it until Chandler Boulevard. There is no interchange to negotiate and no decision to make, which makes the timing unusually predictable for a drive this length.

The eastbound peak runs from about 6:30 to 8:30 in the morning. Leaving Verrado at 8:15 for a 9:00 appointment is comfortable. Leaving at 7:15 is not, and you would arrive before we open anyway.
Verrado and Estrella Families
Both communities were designed to get children outdoors, and both largely succeed. Verrado has a genuine walkable core and a trail network into the White Tanks. Estrella has two lakes, a yacht club that runs sailing programs for children, and foothills trails behind the neighborhoods. That is a real advantage, because time outdoors in daylight is one of the more consistently protective factors in the myopia literature.
It is not a shield, though. Children in both communities attend Litchfield Elementary schools and Agua Fria Union high schools with the same device-based coursework as everywhere else, and progression happens regardless of how good the trails are. The signal to act is two or three consecutive annual increases in the prescription.
