Is a fifty minute drive worth it for a child?
It depends on how fast the prescription is moving. A child whose number has increased three years running has meaningful progression ahead of them, and the years between seven and fifteen are when most of it happens. Weigh eight hours of driving in one month against the prescription your child carries at twenty-five. For a stable prescription that has not changed, the calculation is very different and a local optometrist is the right choice.
